First Hotel Gyllene Hornet
The First Hotel Gyllene Hornet has a beautiful view of Lake Siljan. The hotel is a modern vacation and conference hotel. A main attraction is the indoor pool, which is heated to 82 degrees F and 60 feet long. The hotel also offers a spa, a large room for indoor sports, Miniature Golf and other fun activities.
We have together with our mentor, the master chef Jonas Franzén, developed a new food concept, which includes tasting menus that will treat you to a culinary experience. Hotel Siljanstrand Tällberg
har ett vackert läge vid badstranden med egen brygga och vidsträckt utsikt över Siljan. Här skapades i början av 1900-talet en märklig gård. Gamla byggnader flyttades hit, den äldsta från 1332. Och nya byggdes av gammalt timmer. Den kände arkitekten John Åkerlund anlitades. En unik gård skapades.
Så drevs många år en verksamhet med sällsam historia. Men ekonomin vållade bekymmer. Gården var nära totalt förfall när efter ägarbyte 2010, en varsam restauration påbörjades. I nära samarbete med museum, berörda myndigheter och Green Hotel. Och efter fyra år kan gäster återigen hälsas välkomna till den gamla gården. Nu i boende med tidens krav på komfort. Från stora rum med utsikt mot Siljan, sköna massagebad och minisviter till bibehållet men uppfräschat 40-tal. En del är helt oförändrat som t.ex. Storstugan. F.d. Kaffestugan är ombyggd till den blivande restaurangen. Klockstapeln, delvis en gåva från stiftelse i Tällberg, invigs under hösten 2014. 19 håls minigolfbana är redan invigd och Gammelloftet öppnas för boende sommaren 2015.
